Sweden / Nordic
We are now looking for our new Service Engineer for the ImmunoDiagnostics Division in Thermo Fisher / IDD. You will be an important part of our strong service team in the Nordic countries who work together to help our customers.
The customers are clinical laboratory environments throughout Sweden and when needed in other Nordic countries (Denmark, Norway, Finland, Baltic, Greenland and Island).
We offer independent work with high standards of flexibility, cooperation skills and technical competence. The work involves some travel activities, primarily in Sweden, but also in the Nordic countries.
Essential tasks and responsibilities
Responsible for service and maintenance tasks for Phadia 200, 250, 1000 and 2500 instruments in Sweden IDD Group and additionally with selected customers in the Nordic Region when needed.
Works in close co-operation regarding service and maintenance tasks with Sweden and Nordic Field Service Technicians and with application specialist.
In other Nordic Countries in co-operation with the Nordic Service Manager.
Practical arrangement of back-up in other Nordic Countries or colleagues in special service cases when needed.
Support in the training of usage of our instruments together with application at customer site.
Fullfill PM and service agreement to customers in Sweden and Nordic when needed.
Perform acute service in Sweden, and Nordic when needed.
Installation of our instruments togther with application at customer site.
Work together with sales team to secure customer needs.
Remote service and support, both through LabCom and verbally through phone.
Reporting, ServiceMax, SAP, CMS.
Handle spare parts inventory and order new as necessary.
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications
Technical Education : electronics, engineering or similar.
Language skills : Swedish (mother tongue), and English (good)
Experience from environment in a laboratory
Experience from similar service duties
Analytic problem solver
Flexible in your work and re-plan for acute cases.
Used to travel, mainly Sweden but also other Nordic countries
Fluent Swedish, preferably other Nordic language and English.
Computer skills. Updates of software, network.
You should be careful, structured and organized.
Additional Skills (if needed)
SAP, instrument register knowledge
Travel to Customers in Sweden and Nordic (approx. 35 travel days per year)
Travel to Nordic Region customers or International Service Meetings / Courses etc 5-10 days per year
Beneficial to live near an airport. (Arlanda, Landvetter, Malmö / Köpenhamn)
