Job Description

At Cerner we’re working at the intersection of health and technology. We create software solutions to support clinicians and healthcare professionals in hospitals and healthcare organisations worldwide, and we are looking for a Senior Interface Architect to join an exciting project across Region Skåne for an integrated digital healthcare environment, replacing hundreds of existing IT systems in hospitals and primary care facilities for a comprehensive solution.

The new system includes a service to manage the health of their 1.3 million citizens and a modern digital care system that allows for increased patient participation, safer patient experience, and improved work environment for healthcare professionals.

Cerner’s Population Health Practice is a new exciting part of our organisation transforming the way care is managed and delivered, using technology to underpin the management of population health across geographies.

Our world-leading technology platform aggregates data from multiple sources enabling health and care systems to use this data to identify, score and predict risks, targeting the individual through to population-

wide health improvement campaigns and interventions. The Population Health Europe team offers the opportunity to be part of an innovative fast-

paced unit with all the rewards and challenges that a start-up opportunity brings.

As a Senior Interface Architect, you will be providing design and oversight for individual data onboarding events, supervise the technical work performed by the System Engineers, and develop highly complex data strategies that address industry requirements through collaboration with IT teams and leadership.

You will also build an inventory and acquisition strategy for existing and new data needed to implement the architecture, identify and evaluate current data management technologies, develop data models for advanced database structures, produce and ensure adoption of standards for design, documentation, construction and deployment of database architectures and applications, create and implement measures to ensure data accuracy and accessibility, monitor, report and make recommendations to improve the performance of data management systems, and merge new systems with existing warehouse structures.

This position will be based in Gothenburg or Lund.
