WeWork is currently seeking a Senior Lead for Public Affairs (Corporate & Consumer Communications), Northern Europe. This person will oversee WeWork’s day-
to-day public affairs activities across the Nordic markets. The full-time position will be based in Stockholm, reporting to the Head of Public Affairs for Northern Europe in Berlin.
We are looking for a smart storyteller who is mission-driven and has a mind for growth. Strong candidates will have a sophisticated understanding of media relations, corporate and consumer communications and public policy and will have demonstrable experience managing partnerships and executing thought leadership campaigns and events.
The position will offer the right candidate a unique opportunity to join one of the world's foremost late-stage growth companies and to help build an integral part of Public Affairs in Europe from the ground up and elevate it to the next level.
W ork with the Head of Public Affairs Northern Europe to manage the day to day media and agency relationships across the Nordic markets
Cultivate and own strong relationships with key stakeholders (media, partners, and cross-functional teams)
Work closely with WeWork member companies to help promote their stories to media
Work directly with Events & Marketing Managers to execute and promote brand awareness, community engagement, and thought leadership opportunities across the region
Work with the Head of Public Affairs to build key stakeholder relationships and execute launch playbooks for new markets and buildings across the region
3 to 5 years of communications experience - in-house, agency or in journalism, preferably in fast-paced, high-growth environments
Fluent in Swedish and proficient in English
Existing relationships with key media
A passion for storytelling and intellectual interest in the future of work, cities, economic development, and entrepreneurship
Experience with a wide range of communication channels including digital, broadcast, radio, and print
Must be capable of managing multiple issues and projects at once. Prioritization is key to success.
