Job Purpose :

The purpose of the Business Development Manager is to sell contact lenses and lens care products to optical market across middle part of Sweden.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Sales of contact lenses and lens care products.
  • Promotional activities.
  • Communication of market (customer, consumer, competitor) information to management.
  • Customer seminars and exhibitions.
  • Some key account communication.
  • Part of Nordic Sales & Marketing team (e.g. communication link to Nordic Marketing).
  • Work towards specific objectives (budget and sales competitions).
  • Build long term relations.
  • Travelling on a daily basis (field based position)

    Minimum requirements

    The ideal candidate will have :

  • High school / college (University degree is an added value)
  • Fluent in Swedish and English
  • Good experience from consumer goods or service sector.
  • Alternatively, experience from working as an optician with added talent in sales and business.
  • Excellent sales skills.
  • Excellent at building and maintaining business relationships.
  • Good marketing understanding.
  • Good financial / business understanding and analytical skills.
  • Excellent service provider.
  • IT (Microsoft Office) knowledge
